JORN / KIRKEBY
Exhibition at ARoS, Aarhus Art Museum featuring paintings by Asger Jorn (1914–1973) and Per Kirkeby (1938–2018) two of Denmark’s most influential visual artists in post-war European art history.
Brown kraft paper reference the masonite plates used by both painters in their early years of painting.
The title sign was cut in masonite with wall texts in contrasting reflex blue. The dash was used both as a seperator and a connector between the two artists who never met in person.
