Royal Academy
Founded in 1742 for the advancement of science in Denmark, the Royal Academy of Sciences and Letters have approximately 500 Danish and foreign members.
Logo mark developed in respect of older versions dating back hundreds of years. The new seal was hand drawn to preserve the original characteristics by master engraver Martin Mørck.
The Academy organizes many public lectures with local scientists and international researchers within the natural sciences as well as the humanities and social sciences.
Danish Queen Margrethe II Science Award. In 2015 the award was instituted on the occasion of Her Majesty's 75th birthday as the first award in her own name.
